This January through March, Fit ’N Fierce of West Orange is bringing neighborhoods together for a two-month competition that combines teamwork, consistency, and a little friendly rivalry — all leading up to the big day: Saturday March 7th, 2026.

Battle of the Neighborhoods is a multi-week fitness challenge where local teams face off in group workouts, bonus challenges, and community events. Each activity earns your neighborhood points — the more you participate, the higher your team climbs on the leaderboard!
At the end of the competition, one team will be crowned West Orange’s Fittest Neighborhood and take home the $1,000 grand prize.

1. Workout Participation: Show up, sweat, and represent your neighborhood!
10 points – For each team member attending a Fit ’N Fierce class
15 points – For a full team attendance at the same workout or event
Consistency wins! The more your team trains together, the stronger your score (and your community) becomes.
2. Weekly Fitness Challenges: Each week brings a new mini-challenge — a chance to stack extra points and test your limits. Examples include step goals, planks, flexibility drills, or endurance tests.
5–15 points depending on the challenge
Challenges drop every Monday. You’ll have until Sunday night to complete and submit proof!
3. Community Engagement: This competition is about more than just fitness — it’s about connection.
10 points – Visit Fit ’N Fierce's vendor booth at a community event
5 points – Post on social media tagging @fitnfierceofwestorange and #BattleoftheNeighborhoods
20 points – Bring a new guest to class
Show up for your neighbors and your community. Every act of participation counts!
4. Team Spirit: We love seeing your creativity and energy!
10 points – Matching team outfits or coordinated colors
5 points – Submit a team photo or video highlight each week
20 points – Win “Fierce Spirit of the Month” (voted by staff or community)
Think fun, bold, and full of personality. The more spirit you show, the more points you score.
5. Wellness Wins: Health isn’t just about workouts — it’s about balance.
5 points – Drink half your weight in water daily for 7 days
5 points – Eat 2 cup of fruit daily for 7 days
5 points – Eat 2 cups of vegetables daily for 7 days
5 points – Keep a gratitude journal daily for 7 days
10 points – Finish a week-long “Healthy Habits” or nutrition mini-challenge
Small healthy habits = long-term fierce living. Mini challenges drop every Monday.
6. Milestones & Bonus Points: Stay consistent and celebrate the wins along the way.
50 points – Each time all 5 teammates complete 10 workouts
100 points – Team participates in every weekly challenge in the series
Big goals deserve big rewards — and bragging rights!

The Battle of the Neighborhoods is designed to bring West Orange County together through movement, motivation, and a little friendly rivalry. This competition requires a minimum of four teams, each consisting of five participants, in order to proceed. To keep the competition smooth and enjoyable for everyone, here are the simple guidelines all participants agree to follow:
1. Eligibility
Participants must live in West Orange County.
Teams must include 5 people from the same neighborhood.
All fitness levels are welcome.
Ages 16+ may participate (minors must be paired with a participating adult).
2. Registration
Registration fee: $5–$15 per person (final rate announced at launch).
Fee includes competition entry, point tracking, and prize eligibility.
Registration is non-refundable once the challenge begins.
3. Competition Timeline
Competition runs from January through March, ending before Spring Break.
Weekly challenges, bonus opportunities, and leaderboard updates will be posted inside the private Battle of the Neighborhoods group on our website.
4. Scoring
Points are earned through workouts, challenges, community events, and wellness activities.
Points must be submitted or verified according to the instructions provided.
Leaderboards update weekly.
All final points will be reviewed and confirmed by the Fit ’N Fierce team.
5. Team Guidelines
Teams must remain the same throughout the competition.
No substitutions once competition begins.
Each team designates one Team Captain as the main communicator and score submitter.
Teams are responsible for submitting accurate proof of attendance or challenge completion.
6. Sportsmanship
Positivity always!
Support your teammates and respect other neighborhoods.
Playful trash-talk = okay. Disrespect = not acceptable.
Any behavior that disrupts the competition may result in point deductions or disqualification.
7. Safety & Participation
Exercise within your abilities and inform instructors of limitations or injuries.
Follow all guidance from Fit ’N Fierce coaches during official workouts.
Fit ’N Fierce is not responsible for injuries that occur during independent or unsupervised workouts.
8. Prizes
The team with the highest verified score wins the $1,000 Grand Prize.
In case of a tie, a bonus challenge or “Final Battle Workout” will determine the winner.
Prizes are awarded during our closing celebration event.
9. Photo & Media Use
By participating, you agree that photos and videos taken during classes, events, and team activities may be used on Fit ’N Fierce’s social media, website, and marketing materials.
10. Above All Else
Show up. Move with purpose. Represent your neighborhood. Have fun. That’s what makes this community fierce.
